Check if you have the 32-bit or 64-bit version
1.In Excel, select File > Account > About Excel.
2.In the About Excel dialog, the long name of Microsoft Excel will state if it is 32-bit or 64-bit.
If it is 64-bit, this is not compatible and you need to Reinstall 32-bit Office.
Check that you are not using the Microsoft Store / Windows App version
1.In Excel, select File > Account to open the Product Information dialog.
2.If there is a reference to Microsoft Store / Windows App in the About Excel section, you have the Microsoft Store / Windows App version.
If you have the Microsoft Store / Windows App version, this is not compatible and you need to Reinstall 32-bit Office.
