Windows: 2000 or later. Note: Windows 10/11 is required if using Making Tax Digital (MTD).
Microsoft Excel*: 32-bit desktop version. Excel 365(1) or Excel 2016 or later (including Excel 2024) is recommended.
(1) All Microsoft 365 plans include the desktop version of Excel, except for the Business Basic plan
*Please note:
64-bit Excel is not compatible. If you use 64-bit Excel, you can reinstall the 32-bit version of Office/365.
ARM based PCs are generally not compatible, as 32-bit Office/365 cannot be installed on certain ARM based PCs.
Excel 2007 is not compatible with VT Final Accounts.
