The VT commands and toolbars appear on the Add-Ins tab.
The VT toolbar contains the most commonly used commands in VT Final Accounts. There are additional commands on the VT Bookkeeping and VT Final Accounts drop down menus.
If you have problems finding the VT toolbar, or the toolbar is not working correctly, choose the View>Re-install/Delete VT Final Accounts Toolbars command from the VT Final Accounts menu.

Issue with Excel locking when selecting commands from the toolbar
Issue
After a recent Microsoft update in May 2025, some users have experienced Excel appearing to freeze when selecting certain VT toolbar buttons. This is due to the dialog associated with the command opening but not being accessible, which locks Excel from further action until the dialog is closed (which can only be done by force closing Excel in Task Manager).
This issue appears to be limited to users who are using Windows 10 and Excel 365, integrated with the 365 Copilot app.
Fix
We believe the issue is a result of the recent Microsoft update, which affects the 365 Microsoft Copilot app. Until Microsoft release a future update that may fix this, switching off the 365 Copilot App will resolve the issue. Please note that this app is called 'Microsoft 365 Copilot', which is a separate app to the main 'Copilot' app.
To switch off Microsoft 365 Copilot:
In Excel:
•Select File > Options > CoPilot
•Untick the option: Enable Copilot (requires restarting the app)
•Click on OK then close and reopen Excel.
