Windows: 32-bit or 64-bit - 2000 or later
Microsoft Excel: 32-bit, desktop version - Excel 365(1) or Excel 2016 or later (including Excel 2024) is recommended.
Please note:
The 64-bit version of Excel is not compatible, but your Office/365 license allows you to install the 32-bit version of Office/365(1).
The full desktop version of Excel is required; mobile and web versions are not compatible.
Excel 2007 is not compatible.
VT Final Accounts should not be installed on a server, however it can be used across multiple PCs - see using VT Final Accounts on a network.
VT Transaction+, VT Cash Book, VT Report, VT Calculator VT Filer and VT Fact Viewer run directly in Windows(2) and do not require Excel.
(1) All Microsoft 365 plans include the desktop versions of Excel, except the Business Basic version.
(2) If using the MTD for VAT features in VT Transaction+, VT Cash Book, or VT Report, Windows 10/11 is required.
