VT
Transaction (.tra) files can be accessed from other macro languages or programs
using the VT Transaction 5 Objects component, VTL40.dll.
Transactions can also be posted and new accounts created.
In order to use this component you will need a knowledge of programming
objects in Visual Basic.

The following individuals/organisations have
experience in using VT Transaction 5 Objects and provide a bespoke programming

VT Transaction+
VTL40.dll only reads VT
Transaction files. The equivalent component for VTT+ is VT Accounting Objects
(VTA.dll). This component is always present if you have VT Transaction+
installed. VTT+ itself uses VTA.dll to read and write all its data to VTT+ data
files. The interface provided by VTA.dll is effectively a superset of VTL40.dll.
Please note the following re VTA.dll:
- It will be some time before there are any
help topics available, although the object browsers descriptions are
reasonably complete
- Binary compatibility is not currently being
maintained between different releases of VTT+
