VT Transaction+
Accounting/bookkeeping package for Windows

License key
You must enter your customer number and license key within 60 days after first using the software. These numbers are marked on your invoice if you purchased directly from VT Software. If you purchased from your accountant or other third party, you should apply for your customer number and license key by clicking here. You will need an entitlement number which should have been given to you by your accountant.

Quick start

  1. Start the software by double clicking on the VT Transaction+ shortcut on your desktop. If you chose not to install a shortcut, click Start, click All Programs, click VT and then click VT Transaction+

  2. Create a new company/business data file by choosing the New Company command from the File menu. Alternatively, an existing file can be opened by choosing the Open Company command from the File menu, or by double clicking on it in a folder in Windows

  3. Enter transactions by clicking on the buttons on the main toolbar, or by choosing commands from the Transaction menu

  4. Display accounts and other reports by choosing a command from the Display menu

For full information on using VT Transaction+, choose the Help Topics command from the Help menu.

Support enquiries should normally be submitted by email to support@vtsoftware.co.uk quoting your customer number. Your customer number can be displayed by choosing the About VT Transaction+ command from the Help menu (provided you have previously entered your customer number and license key).

Please note that only one person will be supported per license.

Support charges
First year:                    The first 5 incidents are free, thereafter £10 + VAT per incident
Subsequent years:        £100 + VAT per year (for 5 incidents, thereafter £10 + VAT per incident)

Additional licenses
A single copy of VT Transaction+ can be used for an unlimited number of clients/companies, but you must buy a license for each PC on which it is installed (unless there is only one person using it). You can buy additional licenses at any time at the reduced rate of £75+VAT. If VT Transaction+ is required for a different location, the full price applies.
