Other improvements

• Better support for multiple bank accounts and separate cheque number series

• All limits have been removed. All names and description fields are of unlimited length. Any number of departments, custom ledgers and custom transaction types can be set up, including custom journal types

• A screen is displayed automatically when a file is opened that lists all transaction entered in the order they were entered (can be turned off)

• Many features have been made more obvious for novice users

• Overall, the product is far more visual

• The chart of accounts templates used for creating new files have been improved. The accounts in the Central Expenses ledger have been moved to the Expenses ledger and the old ledger deleted. The Sales and purchase ledgers have been renamed Customers and Suppliers. The Shareholders funds ledger has been split into the Share capital, Share premium, Revaluation reserve, Capital redemption reserve and Profit and loss account ledgers.

• For programmers: Other applications have full read/write in process access to VT Transaction+ data files using an easy to follow object model/library. All dialogs used by VT Transaction+ can be invoked from other applications. VT Transaction+ itself supports COM add-ins

• VT Transaction+ is a 32 bit program. The old VT Transaction is 16 bit. The problems a few users have experienced with 16 bit programs will no longer occur
