How to copy a file in Windows
Navigate to the file in My Computer by successively double clicking (to open My Computer, click Start and then click My Computer)
Select the file by clicking on it once
In the File and Folder Tasks pane on the left-hand side of the window, click on Copy this file. This then displays a dialog for selecting the destination location. This dialog is self explanatory. If you do not have a File and Folder Tasks pane, click here for alternative instructions
Notes
By default, VT Transaction files are stored in the Transact folder on the
C drive (to find this folder, click Start, click My Computer,
double click on Local disk C and then double click on the Transact
folder).
You cannot open a VT Transaction file directly from a CD. You must copy it back
first.
You can open a VT Transaction file directly by double clicking on it in a My
Computer window. There is no need to go via the Open Company dialog in VT
Transaction
