Extracted from the full survey report by VT Software Limited with kind permission of the Faculty of Information Technology of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales. 700 IT decision makers in practice offices in England and Wales were interviewed by telephone during November 2006. Practices interviewed were broadly representative of the overall size of accountancy practices. The research was managed by the Institute's Members’ and Market Research Centre along with the IT Faculty, and conducted by TNS, an independent market research company.
