VT Fact Viewer download

Instructions
Click here to download VT Fact Viewer. Choose Run (or Open in older browsers) when prompted. In some browsers, such as Google Chrome, you cannot run set up programs directly from a web page. In these cases choose the Save option and then open the saved file.

Please close all programs except your web browser before downloading. If you have any problems installing, please see Installation issues.

Please note that VT Fact Viewer requires Microsoft Internet Explorer to be installed.

To install the software on PC's that do not have an internet connection:

• Click here to download. Choose Save when prompted and save the file to a memory stick or CD
• Insert the memory stick or CD into another PC. To start the installation, double click on the downloaded file
• If you want to make a CD that runs automatically, save the file Autorun.inf on the CD as well

Sample files
VT Fact Viewer is not much use if you do not have any iXBRL files to look at, and there are not many around at the moment! The following is a zip file containing two samples (accounts.html and comp.html) provided by HMRC. After unzipping it, right mouse click on one of the files and choose Open With VT Fact Viewer from the pop up menu:
