Instructions
Click here
to download a zip file containing the VT Accounts set up program. Choose Open
when prompted by your browser and then double on setup.exe (the first of
three files in the package). If you have any difficulties with permissions, you
may need to extract the zip file first and then run setup.exe.
Please close all programs except your web browser before downloading. The download contains all necessary software files. An earlier version does not need to be installed.
VT Final Accounts and VT Transaction+ can be used for 60 days from first use before you have to enter a license key. VT Fact Viewer and VT Cash Book can be used free of charge. The un-licensed versions of the software are fully functioning except that any iXBRL files generated do not contain all the technical features required by HMRC (they can be re-generated as soon as you have entered a license key). If you have an old copy of VT Final Accounts on your PC it will be overwritten by the un-licensed version. If you subsequently re-install the old copy it may no longer operate. If you already have a licensed copy of VT Transaction+ on your PC, the license information will not be overwritten by this download (but the software will be updated if necessary).
